ContractExtract is an AI-powered tool that analyzes legal documents and provides plain-language summaries and reports. The Service accepts uploaded documents in PDF, DOCX, and image formats and returns structured analysis reports.

4. User Accounts and Access

• Free tier users may analyze up to 1 contract per month.
• Pay-per-use customers receive one analysis per purchase ($4.99).
• Monthly subscribers ($49/month) receive unlimited analyses during their subscription period.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents that you do not have the right to share
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs without authorization

6. Payments and Billing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with notice.
• Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• Refunds for per-use purchases are available within 24 hours of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the results.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription months upon cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. The analysis reports generated by the Service are provided for your personal or business use. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of ContractExtract and is protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRACTEXTRACT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractExtract from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
